The Newmarket base has indoor (60m x 35m) and outdoor arenas (75m x 45m) which were built in 2009 and installed with the highly regarded Ruf International surfaces.  These are stone based with a waterproof membrane and three grades of sand added on top of the membrane.  These surfaces are suitable for both training and tournaments with an ‘ebb and flow’ riding surface system where irrigation and drainage is fully automatic.  There is also a grass showjumping arena modelled on the Hickstead course.

Other facilities include 22 boxes, solariums, horsewalkers, a horse spa, a treadmill and a water treadmill.  We also have a Martin Collins four furlong gallop.

Prior to the 2012 Olympics the British team used the facilities as a training ground.

Our facilities are regarded to be some of the best in Europe and have acted as a base to numerous national showjumping squads in the build up to major championship competitions.
